2017 Trenton Business Week Announced

The City of Trenton plans to present its 24th Annual Trenton Business Week from October 16th to October 18th in Trenton. The TBW is a host of learning activities for business owners, entrepreneurs, and individuals.

This year the City of Trenton is again cooperating with the Purdue University Center for Regional Development to implement an innovative program for TBW, the Trenton Business Innovation Project. The Center will train local business and community volunteers in a strategic doing process to develop four projects including supporting new retail, supporting heritage tourism, engaging students in a makers project, and supporting an artist’s livelihood. Collaboration among the participants will focus on a sustainable plan for each project. Each group will meet regularly to implement parts of their project.

The Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce will again sponsor the Trenton Business Innovation Project.

Workshops and networking events will be held in different venues in Trenton. This year the events will include a Century of Success luncheon to celebrate Trenton businesses that have served the community for well over 100 years, TD Bank Networking Reception, Capital Minority Chamber of Commerce workshop on business formation, tax advice for small business, and business models, Mercer County business registration and notary services workshop, Trenton permits and procurement workshop, and MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce luncheon where Mayor Eric E. Jackson will present his Annual Economic Address.

Information and registration for the events will be presented on the TBW website at www.TrentonBusinessWeek.com.
